Respiratory Therapist | Location: Illinois

Assignment Overview

Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join the care team on General Floors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to provide high-quality respiratory care, and effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Assignment Details

Assignment Type: Rapid Response Crisis
Shift Details: Nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust plan of care within the multidisciplinary team.
Provide instructions to patients and families regarding respiratory disease processes and interventions.
Provide respiratory care as ordered by physicians while maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff.
Share clinical knowledge with staff and students, serving as a role model for clinical practice.
Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.
Accept reassignment to other units as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

Associate's degree
Illinois License
RRT Certification
BLS Certification
NRP-MHC Certification

PEL/VIP Job ID #65778592. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
