Registered Nurse - PCU | Travel | @ Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. We are looking for a highly skilled nurse with experience in cardiac drips and a background in stroke/neuro care and thoracic surgeries. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Assignment Details

Shift: 4x12 Nights
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $3240 (negotiable)
Float Requirement: Float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas (very rarely may float to Delnor, a 30 min drive away)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage cardiac drips and post-op thoracic surgery patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
2 years of nursing experience
NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Preferred:

Experience with charting systems
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Telemetry skills
