Registered Nurse - PCU | Travel | Illinois

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac drips, stroke/neuro care, and post-operative thoracic surgeries. This role may require floating to other units and very rarely to another location within a 30-minute drive.

Assignment Details

Shift: 4x12s available
Weekend requirement: Yes
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
Floating required to multiple units and potentially to another facility

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care in cardiac, stroke/neuro, and thoracic surgery units
Float to 9 BT units and overflow areas as needed

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience in telemetry
At least 1 year of direct experience
Current Illinois license
COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical Exemptions Only
Flu Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions

Preferred:

Experience with charting systems
Additional certifications such as ACLS and NIHSS

PEL/VIP Job ID #65797502. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
