Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time position specializing in Med/Surg and EICU care. The ideal candidate will provide professional nursing care, adapting to departmental needs and patient status changes. This role requires a versatile and knowledgeable RN capable of managing patient care plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing processes throughout patient care.
• Individualize patient care plans based on specific needs.
• Develop and document care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Respond to life-threatening situations following protocols.
• Educate patients/families and address discharge needs.
• Delegate and collaborate with health team members effectively.
• Maintain a safe and aseptic environment for patients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Two-year degree in nursing.
• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification (within 1 month of hire).
• ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Intermediate proficiency with computers.
• Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• BSN
• PALS
