Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will manage high-acuity cases in an acute care setting, providing critical care to trauma, stroke, and other complex medical and surgical patients.

Assignment Details

• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, Nights (7p-7:30a)
• Assignment Length: Not provided
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)
• Local Candidate Policy: Local rate applies within 50 miles
• Number of Openings: Not provided

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care management for complex trauma and stroke patients
• Administer and titrate medications and ICU drips
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Monitor EKG rhythms and assess patient interventions
• Manage patient care with hospitalists and intensivists 24/7
• Work collaboratively with CNAs and other RNs
• Float to other units as necessary, except ER and OB

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with vent management, medication titration, art lines, and central lines
• Comfortable with required titratable drips

Preferred:

• PALS certification
• Experience with CRRT and EVD/ICP
