Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide advanced care to acutely ill patients. Ideal candidates will have experience with critical care procedures and be adept in managing complex trauma cases.

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Floating Requirements: Expected to float within the facility except for ER & OB
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients with complex trauma, stroke, and other life-threatening conditions
Manage ventilation and medication titration
Handle art lines and central lines
Collaborate with healthcare team to assess and address patient needs

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications
Comfortable with vent management and medication titration
Experience with art lines and central lines
Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms

Preferred:

Experience with CRRT, EVDs, and ICP monitoring
PALS certification
