RN (Registered Nurse), RN-ICU | Travel | Location: Not Provided

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specializing in complex trauma and critical care. The ideal candidate will have experience managing ventilators, titrating medications, and working with central and arterial lines. Experience in critical care and trauma settings is essential.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not Provided
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7p-7:30a, night shifts
Assignment Length: 3x12 nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC
Floating Requirements: Expected to float to units except ER & OB, capped at 1:4 ratio in MedSurg
Unit Orientation: 1-2 shifts

Responsibilities

Manage ventilators and perform medication titration
Administer ICU drips as required
Provide care for patients with complex trauma and critical care needs
Collaborate with hospitalists and eICU after hours
Monitor EKG rhythms and assess the need for intervention

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfort with vent management and medication titration
Experience with art lines and central lines

Preferred:

Prefer PALS certification
Experience with CRRT and EVD/ICP
