Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Tele unit on a travel basis. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who can provide quality care to a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgery and managing chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med/Tele nursing and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
• Local Candidate Policy: Permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit

Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care and manage orthopedic cases
• Conduct NIH assessments and manage stroke cases
• Conduct chest tube management and PIV starts
• Administer trach care and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Manage medication drip including Heparin and IV fluids
• Perform drain/tube management and wound care

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Expertise in Post-op care, Orthopedic experience, TPN, PPN
• Proficiency in general Med/Tele skillset
