Respiratory Therapist | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced with managing diverse patient types, including mostly geriatrics and adults with some pediatric exposure in the Emergency Department. Familiarity with general floor assignments and ICU cases is expected.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2619 (negotiable)
Weekend rotation required: Every other weekend
Holiday expectations: Assigned as needed
Floating: Required to all units within the hospital
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Manage vents, CPAP, and BiPap
Perform a-line placement
Assist providers with intubation
Conduct vent weaning and extubation
Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) analysis

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
RRT or CRT license
Skills in vent management, CPAP, BiPap, and other respiratory therapy procedures
