RN | Location: Rockford, IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN for our Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU units. The ideal candidate must have ICU experience and be willing to float to Medical Surgical as needed. Extensive cardiac experience is required.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Position Urgency: Quick Start
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2457 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
- Document care according to standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to individualized patient needs
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
- Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate issues as necessary
Qualifications
Required:
- ICU experience
- Current IL License
- Certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
