Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN to join the Float Pool, providing care in Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, and ICU units. The ideal candidate will have extensive cardiac experience and be flexible to work in different settings as needed, including floating to Medical Surgical units.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Assignment starts quickly
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2511 (negotiable)
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Document care according to standards.
- Develop and execute patient care plans based on individualized needs.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units.
- Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and escalate as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
- ICU experience
- Current IL License
- CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
- Extensive cardiac experience
