Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Two River, WI

Assignment Overview

A Registered Nurse is needed for the Emergency Department at a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency care, working with patient types ranging from neonates to geriatrics, primarily handling adult patients.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Handle general emergency department tasks, chest tubes, drips, IV starts, and phlebotomy
Interpret EKGs and cardiac rhythms

Qualifications

Required:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
De-escalation training (MOAB or CPI)
General ED skillset
