Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Adult Medical Specialty Unit, focusing on acute care. Ideal candidates should have experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system and shift flexibility is desired.

Assignment Details

Unit: Adult Medical Specialty
Shift: 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Rotation to other acute care gen med areas
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Orientation: 2-3 shifts

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in an acute care setting
Monitor and assess patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with healthcare team members

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or application in process
BLS Certification
Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
Understanding of a drug-free campus policy

Preferred:

Experience with the EPIC charting system
Travel experience on a MedSurg floor
Experience in a level I trauma center
