Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department | Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will bring experience in providing expert emergency care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices to manage a diverse range of urgent medical conditions.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Academic Medical Center
Unit Beds: 55 horizontal, 6 vertical, 15 observation, 5 BH holding
Average Census: 200-220 patients per day
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
Floating: May float to the ED Transition Care Unit
Orientation: 2 days departmental
Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
Utilize clinical decision-making skills to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
Maintain patient safety and enhance patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

Required:

RN Licensure
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
Experience: Minimum 2 years, or 3+ years at a Level 1 trauma center for first-time travelers
