Registered Nurse - Operating Room | RN-OR | Illinois
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join our team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical procedures and patient care in a fast-paced, on-site setting. The position involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care to patients.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 3 12-hour shifts with on-call as required
- No block scheduling requests – unable to guarantee
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2835 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Manage conflict using professional communication skills to contribute to a healthy workplace environment
- Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Participate in continuing education
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS card
- ACLS certification
