Assignment Overview

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a MedSurg unit in an acute care setting in Illinois. Ideal candidates will have robust MedSurg experience and proficiency with the EPIC charting system. High-level nursing skills and effective patient management are essential for success in this role.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7P-7A)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other typically
• Holiday Requirement: Every other typically
• Floating: Candidates may float to ICU, ER, or BHC if experienced. No other floating required.
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a 23-bed MedSurg unit
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress
• Sign off on telemetry strips throughout the shift

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application in process
• 2 years of MedSurg experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred:

• Experience in ICU, ER, or BHC settings
