Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy orthopedic, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries. Must be able to circulate. The position requires participation in call duties.

Assignment Details

Shift: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Shift Details: 0800-1830
Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month, possibly more depending on department needs
Floating: Will float to other facilities if needed
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3570 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care
Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons
Recognize and report changes in patient condition using nursing clinical judgment
Contribute to a healthy workplace environment using professional communication skills
Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
Participate in continuing education
Maintain complete and accurate medical records

Qualifications

Required:

Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current CPR/BLS Card
ACLS certification
