Registered Nurse (RN) - OR | Travel | Illinois
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with specialization in Operating Room procedures for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general and specialized surgeries, including urology, gynecology, and ENT, within an acute care setting.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: 8/4/2025
- Shift: 10-hour days with call duties
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3672 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Work Modality: On-site
- Shift Details: Shifts are 7:00-17:30 or 12:30-23:00
- Call Requirements: Once per week with varying hours
- Weekend/Call Requirements: Every other or every third weekend
- Floating Requirements: Possible to other surgery teams or SPD
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
Responsibilities
- Perform general and specialized surgeries
- Collaborate with surgical technologists in the OR
- Adhere to hospital and department protocols and policies
- Participate in unit-specific and hospital-wide orientations as required
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN License in Illinois or application in process
- BLS Certification
- 2 years of experience in general surgery, gynecology, and urology
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Preferred:
- Experience in ORs similar in size within the last 2 years
