Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic OR experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience with CVOR procedures (e.g., CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, EVAR/TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiographic interventions, LVAD/RVAD, ECMO)
- Ability to scrub and circulate on cardiac and vascular cases
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes; participate in call rotation (one weekend per month and 2–3 days per week availability)
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Punctual, team-oriented, and flexible schedule availability

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative circulating nursing care in a CVOR setting for complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases
- Prepare patients and the OR, maintain sterile field, and assist surgical team throughout procedures
- Support anesthesia and surgical teams during cases and perform necessary intraoperative tasks for both open and endovascular procedures
- Complete documentation in the unit EMR (Meditech) and follow unit-specific policies and time-off request procedures
- Participate in assigned call rotation, respond to late stays and callbacks, and coordinate with on-call backup staff to ensure coverage

Job Description
Short-term travel RN assignment in a cardiovascular operating room on the New Hampshire seacoast. This 13-week role (08/04/2025–11/03/2025) is a day-shift schedule (06:00–15:00) with required call and occasional late stays. The unit is small and team-focused, supports open-heart and complex vascular procedures, and uses Meditech for documentation. Candidates must have at least two years of hospital OR experience, current NH RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and demonstrated cardiac/vascular/thoracic case experience. The position involves both routine intraoperative responsibilities and participation in a formal call rotation; travelers will work closely with a consistent, long-tenured team and have RN backup on call nights.
