Requirements
- RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to scrub and monitor for LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral cases
- Comfortable with device-assisted cases (Impella, IABP, RotoPro, Penumbra) and advanced imaging (IVUS, OCT)
- Familiarity with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems preferred
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays and participate in on-call coverage; floating to prep/recovery as needed
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience acceptable

Responsibilities
- Provide peri-procedural support in the cath lab by scrubbing and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
- Assist with device setup and management (eg, Impella, IABP, RotoPro) and operate imaging equipment such as IVUS and OCT as required
- Accurately document procedures and patient data using the facility EMR (MacLab/Meditech)
- Adhere to unit scheduling, including rotating weekends, holiday coverage, and on-call team assignments (approx. 15–18 days/month)
- Support patient flow by assisting in prep and recovery areas when needed and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to maintain a fast-paced procedural environment
- Maintain required certifications and follow department policies and infection-control protocols

Job Description
13-week travel assignment for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist based in Orange Park, FL. The role supports a busy hospital catheterization lab performing diagnostic left heart catheterizations, PCI/STEMI interventions, carotid and peripheral procedures. Technologists will scrub and monitor cases, assist with advanced devices and imaging tools, and document using MacLab/Meditech. The schedule includes 40 hours per week with rotating weekend and holiday coverage and on-call duties. Candidates must hold RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification plus current ACLS and BLS, and be comfortable with a fast-paced procedural environment and occasional floating to prep/recovery. Newer procedure rooms and a collaborative team environment are highlighted.
