Shift: 07:00–15:30
Hours: 40 hours/week (scheduled Monday–Friday 07:00–15:30; on-call required 12 days/month, including weekends and holidays)
Pay Rate: Estimated taxable pay rate: $28.14/hour
Start Date: 03/30/2026

Requirements
- Certified Special Procedures Technologist or equivalent
- Prior experience in cath lab and interventional radiology procedures
- Current BLS; ACLS preferred
- Ability to be on-call as required (12 days per month, including weekends and holidays)
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain required licensure for Missouri before start date
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and IR procedures by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring patients throughout cases
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, sterile instrumentation, and procedural supplies
- Operate fluoroscopy/imaging equipment and associated ancillary devices during procedures
- Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, troubleshooting, and management of mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g., IABP, Impella) and pacemaker procedures
- Respond to emergent cases while on call and provide peri-procedural patient care and monitoring
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
- Perform a range of IR procedures support including embolizations, thrombectomies, kyphoplasties, drain and port placements, and other required interventions

Job Description
An experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a travel assignment supporting both diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and a broad range of interventional radiology procedures. The technologist will work weekdays with the primary shift of 07:00–15:30, and will share on-call coverage (12 days per month, including weekends/holidays). The role requires hands-on support for device-based interventions (pacemakers, IABP, Impella), vascular embolizations and thrombectomies, kyphoplasty, drain and port placements, and other IR cases. The technologist must maintain sterile technique, operate imaging and ancillary equipment, assist clinicians with device setup and troubleshooting, respond to emergent cases, and adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards while delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
