Pay Rate: Estimated taxable hourly pay rate: $23.77 / hour (plus $1,400.00 weekly stipend)

Requirements
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) Mammography certification
- MQSA-compliant training/documentation (initial 40 hours in mammography, current continuing education, 200 exams/2 years, 8 hours digital mammography, 8 hours digital tomosynthesis)
- BLS certification
- Screening and diagnostic mammography experience (including magnification and spot compression views)
- Experience with stereotactic biopsies, pre-surgical localizations, and contrast-enhanced mammography preferred
- Competence with invasive/sterile procedures and IV certification preferred
- Comfortable reviewing and presenting complex mammographic cases to radiologists
- Experience with Cerner and PenRad documentation systems preferred
- Ability to float to other breast imaging locations as needed
- Professional appearance (pink top and black pants required by unit)

Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and additional specialized views (magnification, spot compression, tomosynthesis)
- Assist with and perform stereotactic biopsies, pre-surgical localizations, and contrast-enhanced mammography procedures
- Operate digital mammography equipment (e.g., GE Senographe Pristina) and maintain image quality standards
- Document procedures and patient information in electronic systems (Cerner, PenRad) and maintain MQSA-required records and continuing education compliance
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for women with varied breast health histories, including prior cancer treatment
- Communicate effectively with radiologists to present complex cases and support diagnostic decision-making
- Adhere to unit scheduling needs (weekday coverage; occasional Saturdays as needed) and float to other centers when required

This travel assignment is for a Mammography Technologist to work in a busy breast imaging center in Asheville, NC. Schedule is full-time with weekday shifts and occasional weekend coverage; floating to other centers may be required.
