Requirements
- MRI registration / certification required
- Experience performing contrast and non-contrast MRI exams
- Familiarity with GE MRI scanners
- Experience with Cerner or similar EMR documentation
- Ability to work rotating weekends and potential on-call coverage
- Must wear black scrubs per unit dress code
- 1 position available
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI exams (contrast and non-contrast) on adult and pediatric patients following protocol and safety standards
- Operate and troubleshoot GE MRI equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Document procedures and patient information in Cerner EMR accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with radiology team and other clinical staff in a fast-paced acute care environment (Level II trauma and pediatric services present)
- Adhere to unit policies, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines
- Maintain professional appearance and follow unit dress code; accommodate rotating weekend schedules

Job Description
This is a travel MRI Technologist assignment in Asheville, NC for a 26-week contract beginning 04/26/2026. The role supports a large acute-care hospital with Level II trauma and pediatric services. The technologist will perform a wide range of MRI studies—including contrast and non-contrast exams—using GE MRI equipment, document in Cerner, and work closely with the radiology team to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. The schedule is 36 hours per week with the assigned shift and includes rotating weekends. Black scrubs are required.
