Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist certification (Rad Tech) and current state licensure applicable for practice in North Carolina
- Prior experience working in Interventional Radiology / IR procedures preferred
- Available for a 10-week travel assignment beginning 04/13/2026 (70 days)
- Able to work the scheduled 06:45–19:15 shifts and meet 36 hours/week
- Must complete required hospital orientation (4-hour hospital orientation plus unit orientation shift)
- Comfortable using Kronos timekeeping and following hospital clock-in/out procedures
- Adhere to facility uniform/color guidelines and tobacco-free campus policy
- Assignment has 4 openings
Responsibilities
- Provide radiologic support for interventional procedures, including operation of imaging equipment and intra-procedural imaging as directed by the IR team
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist with positioning and contrast administration per protocol, and monitor patients during and after procedures
- Maintain accurate procedural and timekeeping documentation in the hospital systems (including Kronos)
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies throughout clinical care
- Participate in required orientation activities and comply with facility dress code and campus policies

Job Description
This travel Radiologic Technologist role supports the Interventional Radiology service in Asheville, NC for a 10-week assignment beginning 04/13/2026. The position requires delivering imaging support for IR procedures, preparing and monitoring patients, operating fluoroscopic/x-ray equipment, and documenting care and time worked in the hospital systems. Candidates must complete a brief hospital orientation and follow unit-specific protocols, including scrub color requirements and Kronos timekeeping procedures. There are four openings for clinicians able to work the 06:45–19:15 schedule at 36 hours per week. Compensation includes an estimated taxable hourly rate plus a weekly stipend.
