Requirements
- Active credentials/qualification as a Special Procedures Technologist or equivalent
- ACLS and BLS required
- Prior Angio/IR experience with critical care exposure (ICU or ED experience preferred)
- Competence in critical-care drip (gtt) management and care for stroke and trauma patients
- Familiarity with interventional equipment (e.g., IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, JetStream) and EPIC Cupid documentation
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, Level I trauma / stroke center environment and participate in call rotations
Responsibilities
- Support and assist the interventional team during angiography and IR procedures (port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, EVAR/TVAR/TIPS, PE/stroke/trauma interventions, etc.)
- Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and supplies used during procedures
- Manage medication drips and patient monitoring in collaboration with RNs and physicians for high-acuity patients
- Maintain accurate procedural and patient documentation in EPIC Cupid
- Follow unit policies, maintain required certifications, and adhere to department dress code and staffing/communication protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage and adapt to a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with additional call responsibilities

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning 04/30/2026 for a Special Procedures Technologist to work in an interventional radiology/angiography team at a high-acuity hospital in Savannah, GA. The role provides hands-on support for complex endovascular and interventional procedures in a unit with three angiography labs (including dedicated IR and hybrid OR capabilities). The position requires experience with critical-care patients, managing medication infusions, and familiarity with advanced cath lab devices. The schedule is built around four 10-hour shifts with call. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS and candidates should be comfortable working in a Level I trauma and certified stroke center environment, documenting care in EPIC Cupid.
