Requirements
- Active RN license in Florida
- Relevant experience in cardiovascular surgery / CVOR or postop cardiac care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work every other weekend and rotate holidays per facility scheduling
- Must be able to float between affiliated units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients, including preoperative and postoperative management
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments according to unit protocols
- Communicate and coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital policies and safety standards
- Float to associated units when required and adhere to site-specific scheduling and orientation procedures

Short-term travel RN assignment in Largo, FL for a cardiovascular surgery unit. This 13-week travel position begins 04/26/2022, with a 05:30–18:00 shift and a 36-hour workweek. The role involves perioperative and postoperative care of cardiac surgery patients, working in a hospital inpatient surgical setting and floating to affiliated units as needed. Candidates must hold an active Florida RN license, possess cardiovascular surgery experience, and be available to work alternating weekends and holidays.
