Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging licensure (must be in hand prior to submission)
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency performing transthoracic echo, stress echo, transesophageal echo, contrast and bubble studies
- Comfortable with a workload of approximately 8–9 studies per day
- Ability to work 4x10 (07:00–17:00) or 5x8 (08:00–16:30) shift patterns, with occasional weekend day shifts and periodic on-call (evening/night) coverage
- Experience with Philips ultrasound systems, GE Clinical Works, and Sunrise (Allscripts) EMR preferred
- Adult patient population experience

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography exams including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, contrast, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols
- Accurately document study findings and patient data in the facility EMR (Sunrise/Allscripts) and maintain required procedural records
- Coordinate patient preparation and safety for stress and TEE studies, including working with nursing and physician staff
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment (Philips) and assist with equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance as needed
- Manage daily workload to meet unit throughput (approximately 8–9 studies/day) while adhering to quality and safety standards
- Provide occasional on-call coverage and weekend day-shift support as scheduled; float within the cardiovascular/echo service as required
- Follow unit guidelines, dress code (scrubs), and departmental policies; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of sonographers and clinical staff

Job Description
A travel Echocardiography Technologist is needed in Manchester, NH to support the hospital echo lab for a 13-week assignment beginning May 3, 2026. The role requires an RDCS or RCS-certified sonographer with NH licensure in hand, comfortable performing a full range of cardiac ultrasound studies—transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, contrast and bubble exams—on an adult patient population. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with typical shift patterns of 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days and occasional weekend/day and on-call responsibilities. The technologist will use Philips ultrasound equipment, interface with GE Clinical Works, and document in Sunrise EMR while working in a collaborative echo lab environment handling roughly 8–9 studies per day.
