Requirements
- Active RN license (eligible to practice in Tennessee)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent PCU / med-surg or ICU nursing experience; burn care experience preferred
- Experience caring for ventilated patients and familiarity with CRRT when needed
- Proficiency with Meditech (documentation system)
- Ability to work nights and meet scheduling requirement of minimum four weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Willingness to float as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients on a 12-bed Burn ICU/PCU, managing acuity consistent with 2:1 ICU and 4:1 med/surg/PCU ratios
- Operate and monitor ventilators, specialty beds, and support CRRT when required
- Complete thorough documentation in Meditech and communicate patient status to the multidisciplinary team
- Follow unit staffing assignments, collaborate with charge RN, PCTs, and unit secretaries, and float per facility policy
- Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS) and adhere to unit dress code (navy scrubs) and local policies
- Fulfill schedule commitments, including the required minimum weekend shifts

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel RN assignment (1 position) in Nashville, TN on a 12-bed Burn ICU/PCU unit. The role requires a licensed RN with PCU or med/surg critical care experience to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00). Nurses will care for high-acuity patients (ICU 2:1; med/surg/PCU 4:1), manage ventilators and specialty beds, and support CRRT when needed. Documentation is completed in Meditech. The schedule requires a minimum of four weekend shifts every four weeks, and contract staff are expected to float when necessary. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; navy scrubs are the unit dress code.
