Requirements
- Active RN licensure (eligible to practice in Texas preferred)
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Experience in mother-baby/OB nursing preferred (stable preferred)
- Ability to take on-call shifts as required
- Must be available to start on 06/01/2026 (June 1st starts only)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to mother-baby patients on a day-shift Mother-Baby/OB unit
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status, perform assessments, and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, assist with deliveries and immediate postpartum care as needed, and perform newborn stabilization per NRP guidelines
- Communicate and coordinate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain required documentation, follow unit protocols, and participate in on-call rotation when assigned

Job Description
This is a travel contract RN opportunity in the Mother-Baby/OB unit in El Paso, TX, covering a fixed 91-day assignment from 06/01/2026 through 08/31/2026. The position is a 12-hour day shift (07:00–19:00) with an on-call requirement. One position is available. Candidates must hold RN licensure and current BLS and NRP certifications; experience in mother-baby care is preferred. This role requires a firm start date of June 1, 2026.
