Description

Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Tennessee looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU! Cell Staff is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with the Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) in Nashville to help them find AMAZING nurses. We're looking for you to become a valuable part of the team.

Registered Nurse Details

Night shift -- 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM (12.5 hrs)
4-3 / 3-4 rotation schedule
Up to 2 year contract opportunity with the option to extend

Registered Nurse Duties

Provide nursing care and administer medications per physician orders and nursing protocol
Evaluate medication effectiveness and monitor for side effects
Perform BLS/CPR and respond to emergencies
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Support patient and family education

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Tennessee RN license or NLC compact privilege
Current BLS (American Heart Association only -- no online certifications)
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an RN
Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health is preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
