Description
Active Georgia or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
BLS certification.
Minimum 3 years of Case Management experience.
Previous travel assignment experience required.
Experience with an electronic charting system (any system accepted).
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and drive discharge plans.
Coordinate services to ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care.
Initiate, evaluate, and reassess treatment plans daily.
Monitor patient progress and length of stay.
Identify and address barriers to discharge.
Perform utilization review and medical necessity reviews.
Apply InterQual criteria and Milliman Guidelines.
Handle admission criteria, concurrent reviews, continued-stay reviews, appeals, and denials.
Follow Medicare regulatory requirements, including patient choice, IMM notices, and MOON notices.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines.
