Education:
Master of Science in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field required.
Doctor's degree in Medical Physics or Physics related discipline preferred
Experience:
3-5 years experience in a clinical setting [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Completed Residency within past 5 years required
Licensure & Certifications:
Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Medical Physicists required
Board Certified Radiation Therapy Physicist by the American Board of Radiology required
Eligible to be an Authorized Medical Physicist by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services. [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent in therapeutic Medical Physics. This is required within 3 years of hire. [PREFERRED]
