RN- Step down
Lubbock, TX
Pay Breakup:
Gross Weekly Pay: $3218
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1776
Non-Taxable Pay: $1446

Requirements:
Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down/IMC experience
First-time travelers accepted
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
EPIC experience required (Hard Stop)
Recent experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (Hard Stop)
IMC/Step Down experience required
Locals Accepted but at lower pay
Ability to work every other weekend
Must be willing to float within scope of practice
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Manage patients receiving cardiac and vasoactive drips
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and IV therapies safely
Manage respiratory therapies, including BiPAP/CPAP, High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care, and chest tubes
Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and provide appropriate interventions
Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
Document all patient care accurately in EPIC
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Schedule & Unit Details:
Float between units as needed
No on-call
Every other weekend required
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Up to 48 hours/week available
