Schedule Type: 5x8-hour shifts
Assignment Length: 20 Weeks

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. The IR Tech will assist with advanced image-guided procedures, including stroke interventions, neuro procedures, vascular interventions, and abdominal/genitourinary procedures.
Responsibilities include sterile procedure setup, equipment operation, patient preparation, scrubbing/circulating during procedures, fluoroscopy operation, maintaining infection control standards, and accurate Epic documentation. The ideal candidate must have strong neuro-interventional experience and be comfortable working in a high-volume teaching hospital environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Neuro-interventional/stroke experience required
- Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Epic charting experience required
- Acute care hospital experience required

Certification:
- ARRT required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ARRT CI/VI preferred

Required Skills:
- Stroke intervention and neuro procedures
- Carotid angiography/stenting
- Embolization and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
- Angioplasty and vascular procedures
- IVC filter placement/removal
- Renal, mesenteric, and pelvic angiography
- Nephrostomy and biliary procedures
- Fluoroscopy operation
- Sterile technique, room setup, and circulating/scrubbing

Preferred Experience:
- GE Innova Single Plane and Siemens Artis Biplane systems
- 3D imaging, PACS, ultrasound
- Lead tech experience
- Advanced vascular and special procedures
