Job Title: Mammography Technologist – Radiology
Location: Eureka, California
Shift: Day Shift (08:00–17:30)
Schedule Type: 5x8-hour shifts
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating mammography equipment, obtaining relevant patient history, maintaining accurate documentation, following radiation safety and infection-control protocols, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. The technologist will document patient care using Epic and may be required to float to nearby affiliated facilities.
Required Qualifications:
Recent and relevant Mammography Technologist experience
Valid California license in hand
Mammography-specific experience
Epic charting experience
Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
Certification:
ARRT (M) – Required
ARRT M – Required
ARRT R – Required
BLS – Required
California License – Required
Preferred Experience:
Hospital-based mammography experience
Travel healthcare experience
Experience working in a high-volume hospital environment
