Shift: Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule Type: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks; Possibility of extension

JOB DESCRIPTION:
seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry and cardiac-monitoring experience, excellent dysrhythmia interpretation skills, and experience managing IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to PCU patients.
• Monitor and assess patients using telemetry and cardiac-monitoring systems.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Manage IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical procedures.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Active Ohio or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered subject to manager review.
• Previous telemetry experience.
• Strong cardiac-monitoring and dysrhythmia-interpretation skills.
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
• BLS (AHA) certification – Required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification – Required.
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
