Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Job Type: 13 weeks Contract
Department: PCU
Start Date: Oct 26, 2026
Schedule: Night shift 3×12-hour shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Float required within Ohio State University facilities
Every other weekend/holiday requirements are not specified in the posting
Local Hourly Pay: $57/hr to $61/hr
Travel Breakdown:-
Taxable w2: $28/hr
Stipend: $1,526/week
Weekly Gross: $2,534/week
Blended Pay: $70.38/hr
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
First-time travelers are accepted
Candidates with only 1 year of experience require manager review and will not receive an automatic offer
Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients with complex and potentially unstable medical conditions.
Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient status and clinical emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and nursing documentation.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Float to other appropriate units within OSU as required.

Resource Logistics Inc Job ID #3495860. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
