Description
Location: Boston,MA
Contract Length: 1 Month (High Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Days | 40 Hours | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM(No weekends no hoidays
Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: Up to$3,335/week
Pay Package Breakdown:
Taxable Pay: Approximately $800/week
Housing and Meal Stipend: Approximately $2,535/week
Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately $83.37/hour
Please note that the final compensation package may vary based on experience, certifications, travel eligibility, and facility approval (Locals also accepted)
Job Duties:
Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations in an outpatient breast imaging setting.
Assist radiologists with diagnostic breast procedures and image-guided interventions as needed.
Obtain and review patient history and ensure proper patient identification and preparation prior to examinations.
Produce clear and accurate diagnostic images while maintaining image quality standards.
Recognize and document abnormal findings for radiologist review.
Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout the imaging process.
Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to departmental quality assurance protocols.
Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Manage patient workflow efficiently in a high-volume outpatient breast imaging department performing approximately 40-50 ultrasounds daily.
Requirements:
✔Minimum 2 years of recent Breast Ultrasound experience
✔ ARDMS Certification in Breast Imaging required
✔ Experience performing Breast Ultrasound and Diagnostic Ultrasound studies
✔ Strong communication and patient care skills

• Busy Outpatient Breast Imaging Department
• Average volume of 40–50 ultrasounds per day
• Approximately 10–12 studies per sonographer daily
