Location: Boston,MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 3x12 Nights | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Compensation:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,962/weekly
Taxable Pay: $612 /week ($17/hour)
Housing & Meal Stipend: $2,350/week
Estimated Blended Rate: $82.2/hour
Job Description:
The RN will float across multiple acute-care units and must be comfortable adapting quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and unit assignments.
Unit Assignments:
The RN may float among the following units:
M7: Med/Surg – Orthopedics, Urology, Neurology & GYN – 30 beds
6W: Cardiology/Telemetry – 32 beds
7E: Surgery – 30 beds
CMS6: Cardiothoracic – 16 beds
Requirements:
• 4+ years of recent acute-care RN experience
• Recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience required for night shift
• Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
• Experience with Meditech IVs
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Must pass the facility's Day 1 telemetry exam with a score of 84% or higher
• Two attempts are allowed
• Must have at least one recent successful travel contract
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
• Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience highly preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• 5+ years of previous float experience preferred
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
