Description

Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Boston, MA
Start Date: Nov 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Openings: 4
Hours: 48 Hours/Week – 4×12s preferred
Shift: Mid / Days & Evenings Rotation
Shift Times: 7 AM–7 PM, 11 AM–11 PM, or 3 PM–3 AM
36 Hours/Week: Also accepted
Weekends: 2 weekends per schedule period
Holidays: Every Other Holiday

Compensation for 48 Hours/Week
Weekly Gross Pay: $3,799/week
Blended Pay Rate: $79.15/hour
Taxable Pay: $32.00/hour
Housing & Meals Stipend: $2,135/week

OT: $48.00/hour after 40 hours
OT Hours: 8 hours/week
OT Pay: $384/week on W2

Department Overview:
Very busy Emergency Department
Up to 120 treatment areas
Approximately 350–440 patients per day
Typical patient ratio: 1:4–5, depending on acuity
Travelers may float to Psych ED and Pediatric ED
Pediatric ED assignments involve patients age 15+ unless the RN has previous pediatric experience
Travelers will not be assigned to trauma rooms

Requirements:
Active Massachusetts RN License
Minimum 1.5 years recent Level I or II ED experience, OR 2+ years recent Level III/IV ED experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
All certifications must be active and unexpired
Telemetry experience required
Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
Must pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 with 85%+
Strong flexibility with floating requirements

Preferred Experience:
EPIC experience
Previous travel assignments
Critical Care experience
