Description
Shift: Mid | 12-Hour | 36 hrs/week
Schedule: Day/Night Rotation
Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
Requirements:
2+ years of recent acute care experience
Must have Surgical Stepdown experience at a Level I Trauma Center
IMCU/Stepdown experience required
Experience with automated medication dispensing systems
2+ previous travel assignments required
Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Telemetry test and Critical Care/Med test on Day 1
Tertiary facility experience preferred
Unit Details:
38-bed Surgical Stepdown/IMCU
Average ratio: 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4–5 when caring for Med/Surg patients
Cares for post-operative patients requiring intermediate-level care transferred from PACU or SICU
Patient population includes:
Cardiothoracic surgery
Vascular surgery
Neurosurgery
Trauma
Transplant
