Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Acute Neuro Unit – 13-Week Assignment

Assignment Details
13-week travel contract
36 hours guaranteed per week
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Days vary, including weekends as needed
Travelers only – no local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Current NIHSS certification required
Active RN license required

Ideal Candidate
Strong experience caring for neurological and post-surgical patient populations
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
Comfortable managing both ambulatory patients and those requiring total care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Reliable and adaptable professional committed to quality patient care and safety

Provides care for patients recovering from neurosurgery, neurological conditions, ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery, general surgery, and acute medical illnesses
Patient population includes both independent and total-care patients requiring ongoing assessment and nursing intervention
