REGISTERED NURSE – PACU (Travel Assignment)
Atlanta, Georgia
13-Week Travel Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 36 Guaranteed Hours

Join a highly skilled Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team caring for patients recovering from a wide range of complex surgical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PACU RN seeking a travel assignment in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Position Details
Position: Registered Nurse – PACU
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-Hour Nights)
Schedule: Weekend shifts required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Travel Assignment Only
Start Date: August 10, 2026

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to adult surgical patients.
Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a high-acuity PACU setting.
Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR.
Surgical Specialties

Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
Current AHA BLS Certification
Current AHA ACLS Certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records preferred

Additional Information
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Holiday call coverage required
Unit supported by dedicated Charge Nurses and Nursing Supervisors
Higher-acuity surgical recovery environment
Travel candidates only
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
