Travel Outpatient Registered Nurse – Pre-Surgery Clinic – 13-Week Assignment

Assignment Dates: Mid-July

Assignment Details
13-week travel contract
40 hours guaranteed per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
No weekends or holidays
Travelers only – no local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Strong IV skills required
Current GA RN license required / or compact

Ideal Candidate
Experienced Outpatient Registered Nurse with strong clinical assessment skills
Medical-Surgical RNs with exceptional IV therapy experience will be considered
Experience in pre-admission testing, preoperative assessments, or ambulatory care preferred
Excellent patient education, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Detail-oriented and committed to providing exceptional patient care

Department Information

Pre-Surgery Clinic

Outpatient clinic providing preoperative evaluations and patient preparation for scheduled surgical procedures
Responsible for preoperative assessments, patient education, IV access, and coordination of care
Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients are optimized for surgery
Fast-paced outpatient environment focused on patient safety, efficiency, and high-quality preoperative care
