Description

Radiologic Technologist – Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, alternating weekends and holidays
Hours: 75 hours per pay period
Pay: $42.00–$50.00 per hour
Benefits: Full benefits package and retirement plan

Job Summary

Perform routine and selected special-procedure radiographic imaging. Prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment, assist radiologists during procedures, review images for quality, maintain equipment, and follow radiation-safety and hospital standards.

Requirements
High school diploma
Completion of an accredited radiography program
ARRT registration in Radiography, RT(R)
Active New York State DOH Radiologic Technologist license or limited permit
American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
DOH IV certification within 180 days
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and provide care to patients of all ages
Availability for emergency coverage, on-call work, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
