Job Description:

Position Summary:Performs imaging examinations on all ages of patients (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operations of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Uses specific training in imaging modality to provide excellent patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist/clerk or other department duties as needed.Position Qualifications:Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred. Current registration with ARDMS may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.Minimum Experience: Must have two years post-graduation experience.License, Certification, Registration: Current ARDMS (abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent required. Multiple specialties preferred. Current BLS certification.Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Client ultrasound experience preferred. Trophon experience preferred.Please make note of the following information: Private Housing is not provided. All housing are shared units. No Pets allowed. Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. Please let us know when this is done. ATTENTION:
a.Right of return transportation. YKHC will provide return transportation (at the cost to the organization) upon termination of an employment agreement unless the termination is a result of:
i. falsification of employment application;
ii. violation of the organizations Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy;
iii. fighting; or
iv. unexcused absence from duties for more than three consecutive scheduled work days
v. voluntary removal from the agency and/or traveler
