..Please do not accept with a different dates with out 1st calling Marlene in HR *** This is ICU positionThis postion must be open to work any shits no exeptions 80 HRS every 2 weeks also no execptions ICU/CCU RN to coordinate, provide care and meet the individualized age appropriate needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the ICU/CCU. The ICU/CCU provides services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring the specialized services of the ICU/CCU. 4 bed / 4 rooms, Patient Ratio 1:2 depending on acuity.if 2 patients and one on the vent, a second nurse will be called in.After hour PACU recoveryEmergency room experience recommended.Hospital orientation through HR and in-servicethen Unit orientation with nurse manager 1-2 day shift then 1-2 night shifts with staff RN.orientation / competency binder to be completed.float to OB, MS, PACU and ER to assist according to the individuals competency level_**Please note: this assignment will work 80 hours every 2 weeks; no exceptions**_

****AGENCIES MUST USE THE HHSC TIMECARDS LOCATED IN THE FACILITY PROFILE AS THIS HOSPITAL GOES BY AN 80 HR IN A 2 WEEK PERIOD TO DETERMINE ACTUAL HOURS/OT ETC. ****

The orientation days. The first day of training would consist of HR orientation, (fingerprinting, reviewing policies and procedures, ID badge, etc.), safety orientation, risk & quality management orientation, in-services/education (Code of conducts, etc.), and I.T. orientation. The second day will be focused on electronic medical record (EMR) training.

The training on day one begins at 10 am with HR (or designee) then safety orientation follows so on and so forth.
