Job Description:

**For a specific traveler**Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI licensemust apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii Licenseby start of assignment.Progressive Care Unit.15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry. 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICUShift or schedule requirements.Day shift: 0645 to 1915Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. no Call.24 hours of operation M-FGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoringRequired skills and minimum years of experience. At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferredFloating to other units/departments.Yes, will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possibleDress Code.Scrubs
