Description

TRA Medical Lab Tech

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.

TRA Medical Lab Technologist examines and analyzes blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells. Relays test results to physicians. Utilizes microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab equipment. Cross matches blood for transfusion.

Preferred Education
Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors degree)

Minimum Experience
Must have 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience.

Required Certification/Licensure
- Registered with a certifying agency (MLT (ASCP), NCA, AMT or equivalent)
- CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
- Other credentialing items, such as a skills Checklist and health related documents, which will be specified by your Recruiter.

    Chelsey has the best communication skills of any Recruiter I’ve had to deal with. Furthermore, she goes out of the way to keep you updated, taking a lot of the stress of the unknown, out of the process. You’d be lucky to have her.
