Description
TRA Interim Director of Nursing- OR
TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Interim Leaders , Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.
The TRA Interim Director of Nursing is the assigned administrator for the assigned department. S/he establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards and objectives; Directs and supervises staff as well as workflow. Position has budgetary or fiscal accountability. Responsible 24 hours a day for the ongoing effective operation of the assigned departments by exerting a leadership role which supports the hospital’s mission, vision, goals and objectives, while focusing on the patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and the community as customers. Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination and integration of the departments' services and standards of care into the hospital’s primary function. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, and approving supply orders.
Minimum Experience
- Must have 5 years progressive nursing management experience in a hospital setting with three years supervisory experience required
Required Certification/Licensure
- Must be currently licensed to practice profession as required by law in state of practice or policy.
- Must meet all certification requirements for each nursing specialty supported
- American Heart Association - CPR-Basic Life Support
- Other credentialing items which will be specified by your Recruiter.
